Oval Organza Shawl
A large oval of silk organza — not a rectangle thrown over the shoulders, a single long disc of cloth. Sheer, with a gathered, slightly crushed band through the centre so it holds a shape instead of collapsing into a scarf.
Worn over a slip, it covers shoulders and arms without becoming a jacket. If the day cools, it stays on; if it doesn’t, it comes off in one piece. The slip underneath is separate.
